Foods forbidden for dogs and cats: the list every owner should keep handy
September 03, 2026
When we create every recipe in our catalogue, the first step isn't deciding what to add, but what to exclude without exception. These are the ingredients you will never find in our snacks:
- Chocolate and pure cocoa: contain theobromine, toxic and potentially fatal.
- Xylitol: the "sugar-free" sweetener causes severe hypoglycaemia, especially in dogs.
- Onion, garlic and leek: damage red blood cells and can cause anaemia.
- Grapes and raisins: risk of acute kidney failure.
- Avocado: persin, digestive and cardiac risk.
Our recipes are meant as a complementary or occasional snack, never as a substitute for a complete and balanced diet. If you have any doubts about your pet's diet, always check with your trusted vet.
