How to store homemade dog cookies so they stay crunchy

August 29, 2026

One of the things we take most care over in our workshop is the final drying: after baking, we leave the cookies inside the switched-off oven with the door ajar for one more hour. That step, which seems minor, is what makes the difference between a cookie that lasts three weeks and one that goes soft in three days.

At home, once you receive your order, we recommend:

  1. Storing the cookies in an airtight container, never in the open bag.
  2. Keeping them somewhere cool and dry, away from sources of moisture.
  3. If you won't eat them in the coming weeks, freeze them: they keep for up to 3 months without losing texture.
