How to store homemade dog cookies so they stay crunchy
August 29, 2026
One of the things we take most care over in our workshop is the final drying: after baking, we leave the cookies inside the switched-off oven with the door ajar for one more hour. That step, which seems minor, is what makes the difference between a cookie that lasts three weeks and one that goes soft in three days.
At home, once you receive your order, we recommend:
- Storing the cookies in an airtight container, never in the open bag.
- Keeping them somewhere cool and dry, away from sources of moisture.
- If you won't eat them in the coming weeks, freeze them: they keep for up to 3 months without losing texture.
